About this shirt
Turn heads with this eye-catching Nike Liverpool FC 2022/23 Away Kit. Instantly recognizable by its dizzying, iridescent multi-coloured marbled wave pattern, this shirt breaks the mold of traditional football fashion. Engineered with Nike's high-performance Dri-FIT moisture-wicking technology, the jersey features a clean white base accented by solid black sleeve cuffs and a modern crew collar. The front features a heat-applied monochrome black Liverbird club crest, Nike Swoosh, and the Standard Chartered primary sponsor logo. The reverse showcases official tournament-style printing for dynamic attacker Luis Díaz alongside his classic squad number 23, set against a solid white block for perfect visibility. A vibrant addition for kit collectors, street style enthusiasts, and dedicated Reds.
The story behind the shirt
2022/23 in context
DN2715 The 2022/23 away kit is heavily inspired by Liverpool's historic, world-renowned musical heritage. The kaleidoscopic swirl design pays tribute to the city's vibrant, pioneering role in the 1990s dance and electronic music scene. At the nape of the neck sits the 97 emblem flanked by eternal flames, updated to honor Andrew Stanley Devine, the 97th victim unlawfully killed in the Hillsborough disaster. On the pitch, this season captured a thrilling transitional era under Jürgen Klopp, highlighted by a historic 7-0 demolition of rivals Manchester United. It was also the first full season for Luis Díaz, whose electric pace, dazzling dribbles, and relentless energy quickly cemented him as a fan favorite at Anfield.
