The chest area features a beautifully embroidered red-and-white circular Ajax Amsterdam club crest positioned directly over an intricate, oversized sublimated repeating crest watermark pattern across the lower torso. The shirt is framed by red-and-white striped gradient sleeve trimming, an engineered ribbed polo collar with a hidden placket loop button, and a vertical "AJAX" text callout lined in red down the side paneling. The 1997-98 campaign was a season of absolute domestic dominance for the Amsterdammers under the stewardship of Morten Olsen. Ajax marched to a spectacular Eredivisie title, finishing a massive 17 points clear of rivals PSV, while simultaneously lifting the KNVB Cup after an emphatic 5-0 destruction of PSV in the final match.
